I finally got my laptop fixed today, I want to pass on some info for others in need for someone trustworthy. I went to two 'chain' places who said it needed an expensive new chip. I decided to go to an 'independently' owned repair shop and all it needed was to restart the internal battery! He said it was so simple that he wouldn't feel right charging me.
